As a social program, we will take you to EXPO 2016 Antalya which is the first EXPO of Antalya and Turkey between 13:30 and 18:30 on Sunday, April 9th.

The beauty that Antalya EXPO has to offer is briefly as follows:

1- Thematic Gardens
You will leave yourself in the branches of nature in the Expo area. There are dozens of thematic gardens from the Ottoman Garden to the Medical Aromatic Plant Garden; from the Aquatic Plant Garden to the Geofit Botanical Garden. You have the opportunity to see some plants really once in your life. You do not want to miss this. You will want to approach and smell every flower you see.

2- EXPO Tower and EXPO Hill
The Expo Tower has a design that will amaze the viewers in every sense. 17 floors above the ground and you will want to see it all over again with sightseeing, eating and drinking, souvenir areas, going up to the top and watching the whole Expo area for hours. Expo Hill is the second highest point that you can see after the Expo Tower. The hill is artificially shaped by the forests of the Taurus Mountains, full of natural beauty and special flowers.

3- Turkey’s First Agricultural and Biodiversity Museum
You will have a daily journey from the land where agriculture has been done for 12,500 years in the Museum of Agriculture and Biodiversity and you will be able to see all the agricultural tools from the past to now day by day. Moreover, Turkish agriculture is supported and explained with both visual and audio tools in this museum.

4- Torku Children’s Island
Another area that your kids will not want to get out of. With its splendid structure, workshops and every day activities, Torku Children’s Island both entertains and educates the children. Here are some of the activities to be carried out on the Children’s Island:

– Plant Labyrinth
– Educational Imagine Path
– Cheerful Farm
– Underground sources

5- Country Gardens
Over 50 foreign countries are participating in Expo with their own gardens. Italian Garden, Chinese Garden, Qatar Desert Rose Garden and others … You can visit these gardens and learn about the cultures of each country and meet the beauties of nature.

6- Plant Sculptors
These sculptures are very different! Plant sculptures, known as mosaic cultures, salute us with many different forms from planting trees to rice plantations. Each neighbourhood in the 10-site Botanical Sculpture Area depicts a continental landscape. While you are trying to photograph with all the sculptures, you may run out of your phone charge, be careful!

7- Turkish Airlines Children’s Science and Technology Centre
Your kids will really have a lot of fun when they travel through space and explore planets. Introduce your children to science at the Children’s Science and Technology Centre with educational activities. There are three floors at the centre: The 1st floor is Basic Science Centre, the 2nd one is Solid Exhibitions, and the 3rd one contains space toys and Dinopark.
